While I finalize all the bands and put together the flyer, you guys can entertain yourselves with a little music by my friends in Dummy Dumpster.
Dummy Dumpster has been making creative music in the New Orleans area for years....I know this, because they were one of the first bands I ever saw at the Dixie Tavern when I moved to New Orleans in 2003. At the time, it was only one guy (the bandleader, Mike Schadwell) playing an instrument that if I remember correctly was basically a bunch of noisy kids' toys all duct-taped together. Memorable, to say the least.
And I think that's what I really admire about these guys....the show is always a spectacle. Costumes, props, wrestling matches....you just never know. Plus....who doesn't love some good healthy high energy rock?!
Come on out May 26th and see for yourself.
